How it Works

1. Choose your loan type, repayment term and value.

First of all, you need to decide whether you would like a cash loan or a Love2Shop card, and how much you’d like to borrow. You can do this using our handy calculator.

What is a Love2Shop card?

Love2shop cards are just like any gift card you would buy from a high street store, except that you can use them in thousands of outlets across the UK and also benefit from fantastic, unique offers. They are both a convenient and quick alternative to cash, and also a wonderful, flexible gift that allows someone to buy what they really want – whether they’re an acquaintance or that person we all know who is just too tricky to buy for!

Love2shop Gift Cards are accepted at a huge variety of different outlets, including high street clothing stores, restaurants and attractions. Here’s the full list of shops that accept Love2shop cards: Love2shop Outlets

We offer up to a £200 Love2shop card, and potentially more after your first loan subject to status and affordability, and you can pay back the amount of credit you’ve received on a weekly basis via debit card over 15 weeks.

What are my loan options?

This depends on your employment status. If you’re employed and you pass our credit search, you can choose between £100, £150 and £200. If you choose cash, you have a maximum of 16 weeks to pay it back. If it’s a card, you have 15 weeks.

Unemployed customers are eligible for £100 of credit or a £100 Love2shop card, with the same repayment plans subject to status and affordability.

Existing customers have more flexible options. Log into your account or call one of our agents to discuss the options we can create for your specific needs.

2. Fill out the application form.

If you pass the pre-application check, you’ll be taken to a simple form to fill out your details. Once your application has been processed you will either get an immediate decision or one of our Customer Care team may call you to discuss your options.

Why do I need to fill out my postcode?

Because we’re a personal, customer-facing service, we will make the effort to come to your home and help you manage your loans face-to-face. We don’t currently operate in all areas of the UK, so giving us your postcode as early as possible will ensure you’re not disappointed if we don’t currently service your area.

3. Receive your cash or Love2shop card.

Once you’ve been accepted, one of our friendly agents will personally visit you to complete the paperwork. They will also give you contact details, so you can get in touch if you need any future help, or you can log-in to your STF account and manage your payments online.

What can I do online?

We’ve set up a new customer account area which allows you to manage your account 24/7. Within your account you can…

  • Apply for further credit
  • Make a payment by Debit Card
  • View your current balance
  • View your current and past agreements
  • View your settlement figure
  • View your statement
  • Change your address details? (This is just a request, it will be actioned in the office)
  • Request a visit from your agent

Just register by clicking on ‘my account’ at the top of this page using your folio number which we will be sending out to you in the post. Alternatively just phone Customer Care on 0333 433 0013 and they will be happy to let you have it.

Feeling a little worried about your credit history? As a family run business, we understand that a minor lapse on your credit record doesn't necessarily reflect your character, or even give a true representation of your financial situation. While some lenders have very strict lending policies, we do our best to give you a chance to take out a loan and build up your credit record with a small loan paid back every week. Even if you aren’t working at the moment, we may be able to help. Find out more here.
